Gouville’s magnificent beach is 6km long, sandy, flat and bordered with grassy dunes. Its lighthouse, Le Sénequet stands 5km out to sea and faces the island of Jersey.

In the distance neat rows of oyster and mussel beds are just visible at low tide and the fresh produce can be bought from the growers.

A Pavillon Bleu flag proudly flies at the beach – awarded to Gouville for excellent swimming waters and care of the beautiful, protected environment.
